Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

When i was 16 i had to have a bank account to have my wages paid into because i worked part time while being at sixth form, i got declined for a bank accounts they referred me to get my credit file and as i said i was 16 at the time!!!!
I seriously think you should either contact the CRA's.
Also as another poster said, write to the banks.0 -
I did go into lloyds and they didn't take me into the back they just said noMy first step would be to go into the bank, and ask them why the accounts were closed.
2 outcomes here -
1. They tell you 'no'.
2. They take you into the back, and explain to you what is wrong, so that you can fix it.
Btw, i was 16 & 2 months when i opened my first bank account. It was natwest and i took my first pay cheque (£45 a week) into it (was in 2000) and ive held the account since then.
If you dont speak to them, and move onto the next bank, the next one will be closed as in the credit report it will say.. -
NATWEST - ***Account Closed***
BARCLAYS - ***Account Closed***
LLOYDS - ***Account Closed***
If you catch me, the next one is going to say '***Account Closed***;.
Ask and you shall receive.
Good luck,
Alias
You were 16 almost 9 years ago?

i do cause hsbc said to me that I should have a look at my credit report which i can't get
You DO NOT have a credit report. You're under 18 and therefore banks will not do a credit search or report to credit reference agencies.
HSBC may say you do have a credit report, but I can tell you that you do not. No one under the age of 18 can obtain or apply for credit and bank accounts for under 18's (When the customer is under 18) are not credit checked or searched.
Once again, YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT REPORT!0 -
Ok matey, this is what you need to do; as you are under legal age for voting and being bound to a legal contract such as a credit agreement - just to clarify you are under 18 right? If so you need to obtain your credit files from all three agencies; Call Credit, Experian and Equifax, look at what ever you get through the post and if there is any data on there you must contatct the CRA and tell them that you are under the legal age for credit products and they must remove any data ASAP.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? I have no idea. Have you tried getting a bank account with a bank that you have no relations too already?0

There will be nothing on his credit report. Credit Agencies will refuse to give him a credit report as he's under 18 and therefore there won't be one/anything on it.
It's highly illegal to report anything to Credit Reference Agencies if the customer is under 18.0 -
Well from what I read here it sounds like a spell of fraud; if anybody has used the OP's details - even changing the D.O.B, there will be "some" maybe even attributable data there to check - just in case.;)There will be nothing on his credit report. Credit Agencies will refuse to give him a credit report as he's under 18 and therefore there won't be one/anything on it.
