I'm going to apply to Halifax 100 times a week in the hope they approve me out of dire straits! Who reckons, by week 7 (700 applications) i'll get accepted......

LOL, I have the HSBC Plus and got the Advance account recently as second account but to be honest no one is giving me owt so must be shot and cifas appeared 26th Jan - had HSBC before this so must mean they didn't use CRA on 2nd account then.... interesting

No chance would 1st accpet me, they are notoriously picky........

I keep about £2k in my HSBC accounts at any one time, maybe this helps my score? I also use the same funds to fund my savings accounts just moving it around all the time! Dya reckon it helped my score to get the second account then? 1st direct wouldn't do much better so won't apply there - YET!

Its not a lot but its all credits..... Like I said, I mainly use Lloyds with wifey as joint account and her spends, my spends are barclays so the HSBC is just spare dosh sat there helping my internal score. The same funds will just move between accounts.....

My main savings are with ING (dont say anything please lol)

Your experience with Sygma has kind of put me off applying to them.

I will check that one out, I need Lee Hancock to send it, he's my personal contact at the moment and he sends them via post! Long story but they dont think I am who I say I am - maybe i'm really 2 people merged into one? twitties aren't they!!!!
