    hello
i am on the same contract.
when i last upgraded i wanted the luna, but i managed to get the 10000 off peak minutes aswell.

since then i also got on the friends and family contract. so all that for just £17 a month. great!

my contract was up at the end of january, so i sold the luna which was still in mint condition thinking that i could just upgrade like i normally do.

well i was wrong, t mobile say i have to pay £75 just to upgrade and then also pay the full rrp on the phone i want.
either that or take off the friends and family discount and the off peak minutes. (which even the people iv spoken to at tmobile have said would be silly)

so i am still on the same price plan with off peak minutes. i did get them to confirm that i can keep my discount if i change my price plan, but im not sure about the off peak minutes. as im not meant to have them with the discount i dont mention it when i call up.

There are certain situations where you still have to pay £75 + RRP for the phone, Its one of the downsides to having a Friends and Relations discount, as it usually means the account is considered low spend in some situations.

I am on the old flext 50 with F&F discount so pay £25 a month for more minutes then I will ever need. My contract runs out end of this month so I called them and they offered me the 5800 for free on flext 35 with web and walk bundled in (after discount this makes it £17.50) or they also offered me the G1 on flext 30 with web and walk plus for £30 (after discount it comes to £15). They wanted £20 for the handset but I know they would wave that if I was really nice and bargained with them.

I havent made up my mind yet...
