Flower - email me about the gas/elec thing... but do your meter reading and submit it anyway. Once you've dug out all your info then drop me a note and I'll [strike]see what I can work out for you [/strike]ask you lots more questions
Thanks Greenbee - I've just took the readings and have posted them on my online account so all done... :j (Gas reading was actually UNDER the amount they estimated for NOVEMBER!!! and I have a £35 credit with them already... Electric was only a bit over Novembers estimated reading and I already have a £122 credit for that too...;)) There's a first!
I couldn't look at previous statements at the moment (I have paperless billing) to get starting reading, but will do it later and email you - I've got to find previous bills too - I only started with BG since August...
Well done on loosing the CC Pigpen... :T :j :T :j :T You must be chuffed to bits...gunsandbanjos wrote: »Have you tried steaming your head soappie?
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I SO read that wrong at first... that will teach me to skim read quickly...
Well, I am really sorry to all those I have missed, but I really need to get some work done and some calls made... I will try to catchup later, but can't promise...
On the flying front, I have tidied the lounge but no cleaning yet. DS is STILL doing his bedroom (how long can it take?) but he did finish cleaning out his terapin yesterday and it is no longer living in soup, but in nice clean water and is sunbathing on top of it's rock under his heat light... much nicer.
I will be doing the front room later as I need to get on with some work at the moment, so I will see you all later. Welcome back Lady Liberty....hope you're feeling ok!!!Any questions at all and fire away!!
MOJT - i've been thinking about you all day. Not sure what I can do to help but pm me if you want a chat or anything.
MOJT and twinmummy - in my defense I don't usually do the the whole lists [STRIKE]so quickly[/STRIKE]at all!!! I'm still not working but start again next Tuesday so watch how well I fly then :rotfl: (i'm usually 'normal' - honest!!!).
DS has been taken out for the day so DD and I went to the pound shops to buy things for the caravans and then went out for lunch. Also let her choose some clothes at George (everything she chose was half price - that's my girl!!). Now we're going to bake some raspberry and chocolate muffins. I'm shattered! :rotfl:
Right, quick s/s then baking. Hugs to all xx0 -
I've just found my fireplace and mantlepeice again!
Feeling even more tearful now, was offered £300 for car minus £150 excess on policy. Have spoken to nice neighbour. Could get a car for that but would be a shed - so pointless really. So bit the bullet and rang brother up, didn't know they were on holiday, (feel guilty for disturbing them) anyway he says he will 'sort something out' when he gets back next week. Feel absolutely terrible for having to ask but could'nt see any other option. Now I want to cry (because I had to ask for help not because he was nasty or anything, he was'nt, the opposite. - Oh I'm just to proud that's my problem)The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:
How do you climb Mount Everest? One step at a time0 -
Thanks Mudbath. I am doing ok at the moment. i think maybe the whole situation hasn't really sunk in.
Will feel a lot better if IU can keep this house. Need to have a chat with DH (H) about it.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Well I think I'm out of action for the rest of the day. Making myself a toasted sandwich under the grill for lunch, I've managed to burn a huge chunk of my hand... It's bright red and verrrrry sore, and I can see the blister already. Don't worry though, i've ran cold water on and then put lavender oil on. Don't think i'll manage any cleaning until it stops hurting, it's taken me 20 minutes to type this. It never rains but it pours ey. Ah well, DVD time i guess, then i'll try and do some uni work.Chifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~

Ok very off topic, but i'm slightly worried about how much this burn hurts and I trust your opinions... Any advice on when it's bad enough to go see someone? My GP is back up in Durham adn I'm in Manchester, so can't go there (and yes registering with a GP is on my list). If you have any advice, would you PM me to avoid clogging the thread?Chifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~
