  • Thanks Mudbath. I am doing ok at the moment. i think maybe the whole situation hasn't really sunk in.

Will feel a lot better if IU can keep this house. Need to have a chat with DH (H) about it.

Hugs MOJT - have just heard the news... :( drop me a line if you want a chat... :A

If you contact TCouncil they will be able to give you some great advice (they helped me sort all my debts out into manageable payments before now) but you actually need to know what you can/can't claim for and benefits you are entitled to.

Speak to these people - I know you're not in debt, but they will know all the help you can get and what you can expect to pay/receive for various bits. They are lovely people and will really help you get your head around things. http://www.cccs.co.uk/ It's somewhere to start... :)

Welcome Back Lady Liberty - Hope you are OK... :)

    Afternoon all :hello:

Didn't get on the computer all day yesterday as I was busy ironing & studying (made up from not doing any on Monday) & sorting DD out

DD is much better - now she just has a stinking cold. Anyone who read on Facebook yesterday about her swallowing a ring...it was a false alarm, but the jewellry has been confiscated anyway

I eventually threw my boots in the washing machine (I have a sports shoes setting ;) Forgot about it like, but I have got it :rotfl: ) in a pillowcase with some non-bio & Zoflora and they smell sweet now :D Just got to dry them now! Laces will have to wait for now

My balance transfer has gone through :D Now my debt free date is 42 months - August 2012 :D Hopefully I'll be able to sort out paying off my overdraft with my mastercard on Friday.

Ex has said he'll have DD from tomorrow :D I'm glad as that gives me an extra 24 hours to get my NVQ work done, but it means I need to shift myself today to get my assignment due tomorrow done! Should be okay - I think a case of reading the bits I need should get me through it :o

    MOJT - huge hugs.

LL - Glad to see you back and hear its gone well.. Take it easy!!! :D

I put a first coat of paint on the back hall with a view to getting the shoe rack and coat rack back in asap. Not sure I like the colour but never mind. I need to do a first coat in the cloakroom as well but not sure how much longer I can ignore the boys for - there is a break even point where they do more harm than I do good IYSWIM.

The house smells and looks a lot better downstairs but I need to do a lot of work upstairs before the weekend.
