aww Sarah (((hugs))) guess DD2's issues are to do with her age - they all go through that phase where they hate to have any attention focussed on them - however it comes...she WILL get over it...although it won't help when people do the tutting and criticising and commenting about 'bad parents' - some people feel qualified to pass judgement instantly...
Like the lady who posted elsewhere on here - parked (in a car with a Blue Badge) in a disabled spot - she clearly was not disabled and somebody came over to remonstrate...she ignored it all...went round the back of the car and got out her son's wheelchair and then her son...
I do my best to instill in my two that how other people behave is nothing to do with them...mind you I also tell them that if they hang around with 'idiots' (aka daft teenagers who drink, smoke and wander the streets) other people wil think they are like that too...

Thanks for the Meerkat appreciation! Why they have Russian accents:confused: I'll never know...I just figured that there probably was a real website....

  • Valli - I think it's because 'meercat' in a russian accent sounds more like 'market' than meercat in any other accent. Funny though.
Rosepink - how are your elephant feet? I really should do something about mine, I hate feet.

Thanks Valli I really hope you're right, and it's a phase DD2's going through. I try so hard to be fair with them all, and consequently I very hard on DD3 because I don't think she should get away with bad behaviour in spite of her Downs or ADHD. So it's taken my knees out from under me a bit.

Thinking about it, DD! hated it when DD2 started at her school, and DD2 started hanging round her.... so maybe it's a bit of that, and not just about her disabilities.

BAH!!! going to clean the kitchen.

Hi Crafty, how come your arm and grip are worse? Have I missed something?
