  • Right - I'm off to bed with Michael J. Fox (well, his book anyway  ) as I haven't had a chance to read any for a while.

See you all tomorrow for some HHCs leading to completed lists ;)

    Night all, sleep well x

  • Thanks everyone who replied to my banking problem. I'm hoping that what Nicki said is the answer! I'm going to keep an eye on things and see what happens tomorrow. We are at a bank with an A and a L and DH has always been confused by their online banking system as the running balance and available balance never seem to bear any relation to each other - he says he never knows how much is in there! Must be designed by a nitwit!
Thanks again, I will update you on what happens! Goes to blow nose again, think I need a tap fitted

yes thats just what I was thinking mudbath!! Valli I am impressed too - well done - we will get some HHk's this week!
milliejo hugs for you and your colleagues - not a nice week for you.
greenbee no photos as its still a mess until its decorated - but it is tidy and I lost count of things flung! but what is in the bedroom has a proper home and not piled up - I think this is the first time ever that all my junk has been in the one place (the hall) and I will work away at it from there - I always used to move it about when people were coming but not any more - its all stacked up tidy in boxes and baskets and I will get through it. If I can do most of the lists this week then it will be easy to keep the place tidy and then the following week catch up with the ebaying. And get back to my ECDL. Thats the plan for this week!

doozergirl - welcome and we are glad you decided to come back-the lists are great for creating routines!
holly good to see you and that you are now nice and cosy! dont get too stressed - you know the lists works so by the end of the week you will have it shiny again!
AnW's Mum - where's the petition I will sign it:rotfl: :rotfl: I hope the ironing doesnt suffer from the Grolsch:rotfl: :rotfl: and leave her beads alone! hope you have a lovely week with A&W and maybe a little flying somewhere!!!

have now sorted out another drawer so tomorrow I will be able to put away my ironing properly. Off back to Sean -to sort out an under-the-bed storage box - need to see if I can fling anything!

    toots xx

I thought maybe by joining in with you all if you will let me it might help me get into a routine instead of a blind panic :p
My first list is going to be very small for just 5 days but to me its a mountain and if I can complete it all it will be the first time for 26 years that Ive managed this much regularly.

you'll get an official welcome soon but from me a big hello:j

i've only been here a few weeks myself and little steps do add up to a big difference - there's lots of support and no judgement here so just take one day at a time and do what you can. the best bit of advice i was given was not to worry if i didn't get something done as it soon comes round again on the lists.

I wasn't aware there was a wine stitch... is it suitable for a small baby :p

AnW's mum - we'll keep our fingers crossed for your bonus. Typically the press don't seem to be able to remember the difference between the high-street banks and the investment banks, so sadly you're tarred with the same brush as the over-paid, over-dressed, champagne drinking w*nkers who went to uni with me!

Toots - if you're piling all the stuff up in the hall, don't block the door up! You need to be able to get out (although you could make sure that the stuff you need to take out is closest to the door ;) )

Welcome casleigh - toots is our official meeter and greeter, and I'm sure she'll be in touch with you when she emerges from her bedroom (I believe she's currently under the bed with Sean Connery :D ). Well done on starting small - it's always a mistake to try to do too much at the start. Good luck, and don't forget, there'll be plenty of people here to support you.

Holly - glad you've got the hot water and heating sorted. Hope the mess won't take too long to sort out

Apologies Triker... have we forgotten to congratulate you on getting your new washing machine ;)
