    Weekend list!!
For everyone to share!!! If you get all these done Auntie Toots may find a golden sparkly star for you!!
    1. [strike]Portion up the soup to freeze[/strike]
    2. [STRIKE]S&S the kitchen & wash up[/STRIKE]
    3. Wash any bedding that has been neglected
    4. [STRIKE]Vacuum a neglected room [/STRIKE] OH's and Ebony's mud tracks have now gone from hallway, living room and kitchen.

Well I didn't get it all done in the 20 mins, as was quite thorough in my S&S of the kitchen (did hob and inside microwave too) but will do the sheets in a minute then I'm done! :T

Toots - do you HAVE to finish toxic's cardi? Does she really deserve it? Will she really appreciate it? Would it be better to unravel it all and make it into smaller items for,e.g. Jacob? Just a wicked thought;)

ETA I just realised you said the wool is black. But, black could be nice on babies if you did a bit of colourful applique or embroidery in wool on it when it's finished

Or she could make it for me.. :D

I know what you are saying soappie but I did promise and I hate to go back on my word even if she goes back on hers - she has asked about it twice this year!!!! I think its a bit of a millstone and a milestone for me to get it finished!

I have already unravelled it all - I could say that I cant do it for her I suppose.....................

Toots - just started my bit of the ironing so weekend list all done.

Will be back later prob on a new thread.

Re nits when found I comb daily wet hair covered in conditioner then in the second week every second day and continue like this until no eggs are found 4 times running. I then add a couple of drops of tea tree oil when drying hair on the whole this works for us but many a time I have cursed the girls and asked for boys (long hair and nits just doesnt go)
  • thanks jjef. Problem is it took 2 hours today to do it and not sure if DS will stay still every day/every other day for that long. Any suggestions?

DS could do with a hair cut but can't see any hairdresser cutting his hair ? Strangley DD doesn't seem to have any:confused:

Pigpen I just tried to send you a PM but your box is full.
Mojt unfortunately a hairdresser probably won't be able to cut his hair for him due to insurance (I used to work in a hairdresser's and if anyone was found to have them, unfortunately they had to go home with wet hair and we had to disinfect everything).

  • Thanks Pigpen. so how on earth can I get rid off ALL of them and get them to stay away?

Took me 4 hours last time getting rid of all of them (or so I thought) how do you manage to do all of yours?
Is anyone else's head itching? Mine has gone really itchy!

Funfairprincess - I am nosy - why does OH need a roadie?

    ....

To move and set up his disco equipment. If we have a lot of work on there is no way OH would be able to do it all himself and then do a function at night too.

Another motorcycle person here - we have a VFR that hasn't been used since I got pregnant with 5yo DS1. If I hadn't have got pregnant we would have done the VFR tour round New Zealand http://www.vfrnewzealand.com/ but by the time we do it now it will be in a a camper van post retirement.

far too much eating and drinking with the in laws this w/end but I have managed to do everything on the weekend list Toots.

My lovely FIL said how amazingly clean and tidy the place was which was rather nice after all my efforts, then BILs GF said I don't know how you can live with all this dust and mess and DH had to be restrained from attempting to strangle her which again was nice because I didn't think he had noticed how hard I have been working.

Envious of those who have been gardening, just had no time at all this weekend but my alanromans and suttons orders have come which is good. serena - the 500 crocus are just starting to flower, thanks again.
