  • thank you.

will have to invest in a nitty gritty comb as the one I have at the moment doesn't get the eggs. How on earth am I meant to find them on my hair?

    Evening all,

Well the bathroom cabinet hasn't dried yet, so can't be put up, so OH didn't get his cake baked today. He worryingly has started on next week's list already though (I knew it was a mistake telling him I'd done that). He has bisselled the dining room carpet where the pet stains were, but the carpet is in such a state (OH thinks from something previous tenants have sprayed on it) that he thinks it'll need another go. He also swept the porch for me as I caught him with broom in hand sweeping the patio. He's been very productive this weekend. happy-038.gif He doesn't normally have Saturday & Sunday off cos he works in retail, but someone with kids swapped their day off (Saturday to Friday) so he was off for two days in a row. I think it helped as he saw that I was busy doing my lists, which motivated him to do his. He did ask where his star was when I showed him that I got mine. Any chance he could have a special award just this week? My nickname for him is Moon (don't ask - it's one of those where the name gets distorted over time and evolves completely into something else). Some of the older members of the thread may recall a conversation a while back about my "moon man" drinking tea like water! lol

Made a big saucepan of vegetable soup this afternoon, and need to portion it up and put it in the freezer. Then I'll have a little bit more washing up to do, and can S&S the kitchen.

Is anyone up for a HHC 6.15-6.45? This is the rest of my to do list:

    Weekend list!!
For everyone to share!!! If you get all these done Auntie Toots may find a golden sparkly star for you!!

    1. Portion up the soup to freeze
    2. S&S the kitchen & wash up
    3. Wash any bedding that has been neglected
    4. Vacuum a neglected room

I think I'm done for the week, as in have done as much as I'm going to!

Usually change the sheets on a Sunday but they can wait til tomorrow or even til bedroom day comes around! Only thing I'm gonna do is hang up the washing that's currently spinning (towels and cloths). Homemade minestrone just finishing off for our dinner and then we'll eat and watch a film i think.

Grrr, just remembered I also need to do tomorrow's lunches.

  • sexy since you asked so nicely and he has made a huge effort I have awarded him a star - and before any of you start saying I want one of them - you are not getting one - they are tooo big for our list - they will only be used for special awards to children and OH's if they show outstanding effort!

off to update my final list for the week
