Shopping all done and the sun's finally broken through the clouds. Seems everyone on the street is deciding to clean their cars this afternoon. One lot have their car radio on loud, another lot have a really noisy vacuum cleaner on etc. etc. I think I'll not be doing mine today..

Just having a late lunch then I'm going to set to on the bathroom

Triker - I'll join you on the "no spending unless necessary" thing. My budget is whacked this month with DD being ill and having to buy "soft stuff" for her to eat

I'm getting there slowly. Mind you I have cleared a huge pile of papers and filed all my bank statements while waiting for the floors to dry :D I've also decluttered most of the programmes I recorded last night from the freeview box :rotfl: Just a couple of films and some things I've recorded for DD (Time team & What the Victorians Did for us....she loves history :D:rotfl: ) and it will be empty again :D

LL you MUST take it easy, I hope the tablets work, now rest up.

Kassy my cats are asleep still, one on the bed, most disgruntled to be moved so I could change the duvet, the other one is sunbathing on a rug inside the patio window.

DUg and weeded round the flower beds I can get to, the lawn is far too wet to walk over to the back one, the brown wheelie bin is full, I feel worn out now.

So I have decluttered some ice cream yum yum.

I am going to the garden shop in a bit to buy some seed spuds ready to grow in plastic sacks like I did last year.

Porch way / front door step power washed down and look lovely as well.

    Hi Guys

Been MIA all week really! Been to swiming lessons for Miss A this morning and then to Nannie's for lunch (decided on a surprise visit as we have not been all week). Back now and about to get stuck onto some flying.

Just seen this article on bellringing which shows you what I do when I get the chance to go. This article is cringeworthy on several counts not least because the tower is a tip, could do with the flylady treatment (ours is much nicer and tidy ;) ) but also the reporter saying the bells are being 'played' arghhhhh doesn't take a fool to realise the correct phrase is the bells are being rung. But perhaps the worst thing is this piece should be used to promote bellringing and they are only ringing 4 bells rather than 6 or 8 and their ringing leaves a lot to be desired!
