Dinner scoffed. Cooked the pots in 2 different oils and got the family to vote on a favourite to add a bit of interest to meal time.

Did anybody watch WDYTYA? on Monday? Is it worth a 'catchup' with some ironing?

Just need to phone my mother and then I might clean the bathroom.

In my HHC, I cleared, cleaned and sorted 2 bookshelves in the spare room, dusted and cleaned the window. well the good news is....I havent been made redundant:j

the problem is..... I have just cleaned the main bathroom & knocked one of DHs aftershave bottles down the loo (luckily not his favourite) & so far havent been able to get it out.....will have to hope I can do before he gets in!
  • Its been a good day - fun with DS, errands achieved, lots of cleaning jobs knocked off and now DH is home early and is putting DS to bed for me.

DS wanted a browse of charity shops for books earlier and we found finally some jeans to fit (long skinny streak him) and a GAP fleece - so a whole Gap outfit for less than £4 - brill. :D

Then a carpet picnic tea prepared by DS for me - in a blanket tent in the lounge. Weird but fun!!

Off to make some supper for DH & 1, alcofrol and a thai-ish stirfry and then a slob with a DVD.

    laters

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

  • Evening everyone

Toots When I try to email you, I'm getting it bounced straight back.

:j :j :j :j Thankfully the water was only off for a bit, so the disgusting brown water splurting out is now gone! :j :j :j :j :j

Loud child is now back with her rmummy :j :j :j I know we're all biased about our children, but nonetheless........ I know mine aren't that loud and clumsy. We had a flood of biblical proportions last night when she had a bath. Mouthwash poured all over the floor because she was pouring it out while looking the other way  She crashed into an old lady and nearly took off her feet because she was walking backwards in the shopping centre.... And the list goes on and on....!! It's really difficult, cos her mum is my best friend, and there's only so much you can say about someone else's child. I have discussed it with her... at length.... but what can I say? We have very different parenting styles!

OK re: me and OH..... Just cos I haven't really said 'out loud' what the position is.... there are a few of you that know what's what....
We've discussed breaking up. I've said it's over. He feels trapped because I don't work, and so he can't afford to buy or rent somewhere else. So I need to get a job so that I can take over the mortgage.

Things have been really frosty this week. As it's been really sinking in particularly for him. But it's not horrible. He is a pain, but not all the time!!! And I would rather sort myself out financially so things can be as amicable as possible.

So I'm ok, just cracking on with life, and application forms!!   And we'll see what's what.

Ok, time to get tired children off to bed. They had a late night last night, so we need to catch up. ;)
