  • Ahhhhhhh! great start, the hot water is off. I called the landlord and he said he will get someone round in the next few days (he means Monday- I know him too well). Last time it broke I didnt have any for a week, my landlord is a nice guy but slightly too laidback?

So first thing is to boil tons of hot water for a bath to get me clean. Then Im hoping a couple of kettles full will allow me to clean the bathroom today.

    Have a good day everyone!

ETA hugs for all who need them
  • Morning all,
Just came rushing out of the shower to answer the phone and it was a bit worrying...
'Congratulations, you have won an all expenses paid holiday to florida - flights and accommodation - just press 9 to find out more'...
I hung up, but this could catch someone out very easy - do you think it's one of those things where when you press 9 they have your number/can get your details??? Think I am going to have to let my Mum know about that...
There again, it could have been legit and I could have won something and then I could have put it with the £1.5m I just won according to my emails.... ;) mmmm, me thinks I'm getting a bit cynical in my old age...

Not much flying so far today - have had breakfast, tidied the kitchen, got showered and made the bed/done a floordrobe dance... Am off to Chelmsford now as hubby has a bike theory test (he can't go on his own... ) What is it with men that they need you with them - Oh, actually I know this one, he would get lost and wouldn't ask for directions so wouldn't make the test... ;)

Well I managed to empty one of the toyboxes in DS's bedroom so I could sort out if there was anything that could disappear. Filled a binbag half full with rubbish. Unloaded and reloaded the WM. Loaded the TD.

Half of the contents of the toybox are still on the floor so I'd better get back to it. I also need to sort out the books as I need to get rid of some but I hat getting rid of books!

    Another HHC 9.30 - 10 anyone?

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Morning all

All OK in the AnW household, thanks for all the hugs and thoughts. Had a busy day yesterday, Miss A did well in her 1 to 1 swimming lesson :D she spent almost 30 mins with the teacher in the water (was in informal lesson). She manipulated her legs into the right shapes so hopefully that will help Miss A be more effiicient in the water. After that we went out to a local park where they both had a good run around and play. Saw some of the animals at the farm as well although some where already penned in for the night.

My friend babysat whilst I went bell ringning, good job I wet as there were only 4 there when I arrived and another 1 came whilst we were there. Had a catch up with my friend when I got back which was nice as well.

So all in all no flying all day  but then we were not here to make the place any worse.

I am going to check out what's on at the cinema and take the kids out for a treat and if they are good maybe a KFC (Daddy's fave :D and their's)
