Bought a Karcher last year that having being unused over winter has now given up the ghost after 9 months. that said their after sales are sending out a replacement so top marks for their customer service, the jury is out on the product itself though
  • Any pressure washer will clean your patio and car without a problem.
They have different sereis's K1, K2, K3 and so on the higher the number the more pressure and litres per minute.
the next number usually means the higher the more additiona bits you get, the lower ones come with just a standard lance next with the vario lance then dirt blaster detergent bottles, hose reels. all are usefull but non as usefull as the vario lance.

I think mine is the K391MD and is great for cleaning the path and the car, care needs to be taken on cars near loose or damaged paint but other than that no problem. Im not so sure regarding the tracer attachments I supose the stop the water spraying everywhere but you cant really get them in corners and that is when you end up covered in water and what ever was on the surface so you may as well just use the vario or dirt blaster.

nd that is when you end up covered in water and what ever

Useful extra would be a pair of over trousers.
  • I bought a Makita one for around £50. It has been great so far. Perfect for the patio and the car and detering next door's cat from peeing in my garden.

I got the Karcher K7.91 from Amazon - main reason for that was the 12 metre hose length. Its also got a detergent tank and it comes with a T300 Patio Cleaner.

Previously had the Karcher K3.99 but I found the length of the hose was not long enough for my use and I never liked the idea of moving the pressure washer and a bucket filled with detergent as the particular model does not have an inbuilt detergent tank.
  • Hi Everyone,

The Karcher 3.66 jubille model is the best all rounder. This product will also will save you money on your water bill. It uses 1/5th of the water than a normal garden hose.

Wait for the next Karcher Blockbuster on Idealworld its a best buy @ £129.99.

I recommend NILFISK-ALTO,they have been making them for years .You can buy them through screwfix bit I got mine through www.dm-tools.co.uk
They sell package deals and also machines only and attachments seperate.
I've got the ALTO E140 EXTRA PACK , includes auto rim brush, garden furniture brush, auto brush, patio cleaner(which is excellant) and also a wall mounting bracket. It gives out 140 bar which is about 500 litres of water per hour and 9 mtres of hose and is 2100 watts,oh and also detergant bottle. It cost £249-00 but they do others and I can't fault the service.Think its a 2 yr warranty.

Just found out they are the largest manufacturer of industrial cleaning machinery in the world.........I don't work for them,, honest.lol
