Need help quickish...what's a prerequisite?

Not so far. Son will be in a classroom situation for most of today I think so I dont expect to hear from him until tonight now. I'm assuming whatever it was, either wasn't needed or had already been dealt with by his work, as I didn't get a panic phone call this morning when he would have arrived and registered.

Just had a quick phone call. Paperwork is generic and not course specific despite having the course title printed at the start.

He didn't need the 'prerequisite' nor the form they sent him to fill in. They gave out duplicates and everyone had to fill the form in again, in class.

We still have no idea what a 'prerequisite' actually is, as it was never mentioned and son didn't want to ask. :rolleyes:

So sorry folks, we're all still in the dark. Thankfully it's not a problem though.:D

I think Edinburghlass's explanation is the right one. It's something you need (require) before (pre) you can do something else.

they should never have stopped teaching Latin in schools.
