Southern Water are they ripping me off????

3 months ago Southern Water offered me 3 months free insurance in case of a leak in the pipe to my house which apparantly I would have to pay for. Previously to this I kept getting letters offering me Insurance but never took them up on it, well I had a form through the door yesterday saying that a man called today and I have a water leak and he will be back in 2 weeks and if I havnt fixed it I will get done!!!! I called the number and the woman said she would call me back as she thinks that a man must of heard the water leaking but she didnt call back. Now in a blind panic I have bought the Insurance just to be on the safe side!! I have a niggly feeling that something dodgy is going on what do you think??

Ring the water co. not the number on the leaflet they will tell you if its legit or not,0
