  • [quote=Scarlett.1974I love this and have stocked up, but I think my store (not London) might be ripping me off, it's £7.34 there

I thought I lived in an expensive area ( sussex/surrey border ) but I only paid £1.84 after voucher yesterday:rolleyes:

I do love this stuff and now have enough to last a few months at least

Ashford Sevington has lots of the Loreal Anti Fatigue in the storeroom, as i asked if they had more, nice lady told me there were lots, and was going to get some herself too

went to a different store( edited)
Bumped into a friend in there, who knew i was into vouchers, she had already got some bits in her hand, and just wanted me to check she was using the right/maximum vouchers. she had some toni & guy shampoo ( £2 haircare + 150 points) also had a P&P Face serum,as a gift for a friend(£5 off P&P ACM voucher) i didnt notice, but she had picked it up thinking it was the body one. I suggested getting 1 more item, to get the GWP, which she did. On the approach to the till, i said there is a voucher in the GWP, take it out and use it, due to her own personal circumstances, she cannot use certain skincare atm, so wouldnt have used the voucher anyway.
We were just in front of the till, when the 'lady' ( a lady doesnt launch personal attacks on customers!!) quite aggressively in her stance and manner, started saying we couldnt use the voucher out of the GWP until it had gone through the till,it had to be used after, i explained i was trying to make buying in boots as much fun as possible for my friend, but she then accused me of buying goods and returning them incomplete at Christmas, and using too many vouchers
I stood my ground, as i certainly have not, she went off, and the lovley young girl at the till, put through my friends items, and the voucher! At this point she realsied she had the face one, not the body, and the No7 lady had already seen her with her goods, and she was kicking off about 250points voucher, for potentailly over £100 spend!( but swapped for body before leaving store!!)My friend was quite upset by the whole thing, but we went our se[parate ways. But what the no7 lady had said was bothering me, so several hours later, i went back, and confronted her. The manager joined us, and she kept on about the voucher from the GWP, and once she had had her say, i explained it wasnt the voucher incident that was troubling me, butt he accusation, which she then changed, to at xmas sale,i had asked for money off an already reduced item, as it was incomplete, ( i had actually asked for money off an unopened item, as the outer packaging was damaged.) she claims that the the item when she checked had a voucher muissing, and that i put oo many vouchers through. The managed then seemed to side with her, saying to put iot down in writing to head office, making sure i included my advantage card no, ( as i think they were sure they were going to catch me out for something i hadnt done!!) I then got escorted from the store!!!!!!!!!!!

i feel as theough i have been treated unfairly, and as they have obviously had my account scrutinised, and no problem found, im not sure whether i am still welcome in the store, for something for which i was not guilty of!

when i got home, i called customer services, who were very helpful, and a manager ended up dealing with it, through the post this morning, i got a £15 voucher, and an apology. What a nightmare for you. I don't think I would ever want to go in the store again, although on the other hand you need to stand your ground and should continue shopping there, using your boots knowledge and vouchers (and a smile, knowing that you are in the right)
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

This would of bothered me too and i probably would of confronted her at the time but this is terrible service from them and i would actually send a letter to boots explaining what happened as a 15 voucher is not exactly compensation for being accused of some thing you didnt do!

Oh dear poor you! might i suggest going back into the store and brandishing your apology in the managers face? Point out that they give out vouchers as an incentive to shop in his store and that using them does not constitute illegal behaviour! Don't be aggressive or flounce, but calmly point out that treating their customers like criminals is not on.

  • Thanks to a previous poster I have printed 2 of the S&G £2 skincare vouchers off.
Now will some knid soul please explain how I'm best to use them.
    Thanks in advance
    LL

Depends how u want to use them. If u want to use them on S&G minis take them to the tills. If the till beeps explain they only exculde the wipes as shown on the bottom of the voucher. Be persistent and usually the supervisor will over ride the till.

Managed to use the acm vouchers the kind ladies posted out to me. I can't believe the SA did not bat an eyelid even though I was Mrs S in one voucher and then Mrs N in the other. I just kept pursing/pouting my lips and she just kept her eyes on them! Worked a treat. Got a T+G Colour Reviver shampoo thing each time, used a haircare voucher and an acm. So I paid nothing and got 150 points back! Get me. Woohoo! Going to do the rounds again tomorrow and get some more. Still have a few acm vouchers left that the lovely ladies sent me!

Not entirely sure, but I think the new vouchers are coming out tomorrow. She said they might be No7. Don't quote me on this as it does sound a bit daft that they have them coming out tomorrow. Personally I think she may be right. They still have tart loads of No7 Hydro Quench etc lurking around which they probably need to get rid of, and I am sure most people will use their No7 vouchers to get them free or cheaper. And I can't say I have seen the No7 GWP's flying off the shelves round here.

Thanks again to the 3 x ladies that sent me the vouchers.
