It was Red... So this little baby makes Three:rotfl:

Anyone else seen this little Red Box?

    [snipped ...}

I think I've seen this in a tiny village store if it's in a square box with a picture of some sort of skincare in it. It was a sort of Christmassy red colour, with a black and white picture (presumable with whatever was in it) and is like a 6" cube iyswim?

I'll try and check it out later today :)

Saw little red boxes at Metro centre last week hidden behind Max Factor counter, as hard as we tried we couldn't get the SA's attention drawn away till we sneaked one into our basket, so frustrating been dying to know what they were. Wonder if they were the same box, square red tied in black ribbon??

I should have read backwards :D That sounds like the one I saw zubezube :)

Are you sure the boxes you've all seen aren't the actual moisturiser? As that comes in a small red box tied with a black ribbon. :) (and is £25 so don't want you to get a nasty shock at the till!)

That's what I thought too msmoo, and it did look expensive. *But the strange thing is that they keep reduced odds and ends right next to the till, so I think I'll ask first because they're usually ok about saying yes ;)

*(Unless it's where it is because it's probably the most expensive thing in this tiny store, in which case it would make sense keeping it under their noses, so to speak :D)

The problem is when you pay with points you don't earn points LOL :)
Which is why I havent used any points for a while....
Last week I did a big shop with essentials, baby milk, food, nappies ect. Total came to over £70, I said "can I pay with points please?". SA immediatly replied, sorry no, you need to pay in full with points not part of your shopping (obviously assuming I wouldnt have enough points.
Knowing full well I had over £400 worth of points on my card, I said, "eh I have enough" lol handed over my card, SA looked in shock when she saw my points, I was scared she was gonna phone head office or something.

This post had just reminded me that in one store (not sure if it was an upgraded Alliance off the top of my head, or just a tiny store) but they wouldn't redeem points on razor blades  I'll have to ask OH if he can remember why the SA said it, as I thought I'd redeemed points on razor blades before

I did manage to get 2 olay GWP's (one for me and one for my mum for mothers day) with only the olay definity cleanser (in 2 separate transactions)
I also got the gillette shaving foam for 97p with the 150 points voucher and a 75ml Boots Extract Cocoa Butter body wash for £1.62 (there was 1/3rd of Extracts) and used a 150 points voucher that I got from the ACM.
I saw the smillie perfume that Sally06 said was in our local reduced to about £3 something and tried it but wasn't keen on it... The Nivea DNAge Zone that was £7.80 on clearance before the changover and could be used with the wrinklies has now gone down to £3.80 typically... quote]

hi jemclasjess:hello: I was in our local this afternoon for about 10 minutes. Well done for getting the new olay GWP with a cleanser:T I agree, they do look nice. I was in two minds whether to try to get one with a cheaper product, but was unsure if it would work and didn't have the nerve to try incase it didn't:o If I was in a different store, I wouldn't have given it a second thought. But you know what they are like in our local:rolleyes:

What a beautiful February day!:j Off we went to Waterloo, collected our free Divine chocolate bars from B*dy Sh*p, got the train to Kingston and arrived in brilliant take-your-coat-off sunshine.

Then we picked up our free Starbucks coffee wallets, and went into Boots. At the No 7 counter I got the Stay Perfect foundation compact thingy, for half price, £6.35, less 10%, less Perkie, cost me 71p. Alas they didn't have any more No Grains Exfoliator, and I didn't know then about the peachy hand cream, but I've got loads of S & G and P & P anyway. :D

Then I got another packet of wipes £6.40, less 10%, less Perkie, cost me 64p. Dee got 2 Nail & Cuticle thingies, less 10%, less Perkie, 49p, then we listened politely to the Clarins lady (collected 4 more samples), then went searching.

We wombled six Perkies, and also spotted abandoned Wrinklies! The Olay GWP is gorgeous. It's black with red flowers, so we popped one each into our baskets, together with a Sanctuary mini, and the Sanctuary gift set, and headed for the SS tills, where a Young Lad was helping people.

The Olay GWP went through without a sound, and just came up as costing £0.00, then we put through the mini, then tried the Sanctuary GWP, but couldn't find the bar code. So the young lad asked if we were OK, I explained I couldn't find the bar code, he held a Special Key close to the screen (seen lots of SAs do this), tiddly om pom pom, it went through!!

Then Dee did it, and he fiddled as before, then I said "Oh I should have got one for my niece" and Dee piped up "Yeah, me too", so the young lad said "Oh I'll go and get them for you girls, would you like the same as before?"

Breathlessly I squeaked "Yes please" so, bless his heart he did that and put them through the till for us! I said "Oooo, any chance of a voucher please" and he said "sure girls"!! We scurried back and collected another Olay each, and put these through and then, sweating profusely, departed.

I asked another Young Lad outside if he knew where Pizza Express was. He said he had an hour and a half to kill till his next class, at Kingston Uni, and he'd take us there - wasn't that kind! Picking up young men left, right & centre, we are! ;)

We had a lovely 2 for 1 chicken salad and then spent a most enjoyable hour, sitting by the Thames, watching the world go by, by which time it was 2pm, so we went to Starbucks for our free coffee - not very heavy on the caffeine, but it was W&W - wet an' warm, and free!

Then we doubled back to John Lewis, collected our free Origins Face Scrub, plus another set of Clarins samples, had another coffee and made our way home. We did try a couple of "buy anything No 7, see if we can get a GWP", but it didn't work, so well done to those who got it yesterday online.

Tomorrow we are going to Liverpool Street and walking to Bevis Marks for our 99p breakfast at Subway, then a bit of light Bootsing at L Street, on to Bond Street, where I'm going to get a TENS machine - a very good deal at the mo, cos I get the 10% off, £5 off the £25 plus spend, and 500 points.

Then a GBK 2 for 1 lunch, free coffee, Carousel, and a Meal Deal from our points after. And the forecast is an even warmer day than today! :T :T

My total spends today was £5.75 for which I got the No 7 foundation compact, No 7 wipes, 2 gift boxes of Sanctuary GWPs, 2 Sanctuary minis, 2 Olay GWPs, bar of choccy, 2 coffees, Origins Face Scrub, 8 pots of Clarins stuff, travel and an additional £4.15 for my lunch!!!!! Oh yes, and I got another Perkie!!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. :D

    xx

Don't think the one Agent Scarlet got is the one on .com. The one on .com is free with definity olay, which is the one with th green lid. Sandra said on her gwp it said it came free with regenerist olay.
Very intriguing though:rolleyes:, anyone else spotted a regenerist gwp?? Two gwps in o ne month could certainly liven things up:D

is the new one only scanning free with any definity purchase or can u buy anything eg wipes??
