  • Are you sure the boxes you've all seen aren't the actual moisturiser? As that comes in a small red box tied with a black ribbon. :) (and is £25 so don't want you to get a nasty shock at the till!)

Ooo yes, I saw those as well, they are similar, that would be a bit of a shock! The one I got is much bigger, a proper sturdy box. Hope you all find the right one.

I went to a largish store near me and got a voucher for £5.00 off Time Delay Skin Treatments Mico-Dermabrasion System- Was £19.57 Now £14.57. Looked onthe Time Delay shelf and picked up Time Delay Micro Dermabrasion Kit and used the voucher. However the item was reduced to £7,28 from £14.56 (Llike all the Time Delay !!)so paid £2.28!! It did beep but after 2 sa's read the voucher they overode it and gave it to me for same price. Original item here http://boots.scene7.com/s7ondemand/zoom/flasht_zoom.jsp?company=Boots&sku=10078798&height=350&width=350

ACM gave me another voucher so I will try again tommorow. Might be a glitch!!!
  • The problem is when you pay with points you don't earn points LOL :)
Which is why I havent used any points for a while....
Last week I did a big shop with essentials, baby milk, food, nappies ect. Total came to over £70, I said "can I pay with points please?". SA immediatly replied, sorry no, you need to pay in full with points not part of your shopping (obviously assuming I wouldnt have enough points.
Knowing full well I had over £400 worth of points on my card, I said, "eh I have enough" lol handed over my card, SA looked in shock when she saw my points, I was scared she was gonna phone head office or something.

... except, have just noticed Boots Smooth Skin Intense Pulsed Light Hair Reduction System advertised in magazine. Does anyone know anything about this, ie does it work?! If it does, might start trying to save points...

I saw that and was interested too, but haven't heard/read anything about it other than what's on .com. I do know that actual laser hair removal machines used at salons, etc., cost many thousands (and not all brands of those work well), so I'm pretty skeptical that something like this would do much.

If anyone gets it and tries it, please report back! Though it would probably take months to get a true read on how it works, as I think it said you had to do 5 or 6 treatments on a given area, and you most likely have a few weeks in between each treatment.
