Holy cow! This is my fave EDT. Did it have a reduced SEL? I just had a look at my store and it was full priced. Boohiss!
Also, the kind lady/gent that pointed out the Gilette item that was scanning at less than 50p, I don't think this item is in all stores. Just walked the whole store and looked at all the Gilette barcodes, didn't find it anywhere. Not good at all.
sorry i forgot to say it was on a clearance stand. Had about 7 left if u want i can pick u one up0 -

I would phone CS and complain about it - it may have been an honest mistake, a SA may have started to open it in the stockroom before realising it was an order for collection. But even so, it shouldn't happen, and you shouldn't have to have folk building up a queue at the tills behind you because you have to check the contents before you leave the store.0 -

First time spend Less than £40 on com and got it delivered to my local boots for free, however the parcel has been opened. i was surprised and replied : we need to check every order , oh what if I order something ... i have to check everything with lots of people behind me wachhing what i have ordered so is the shop assistant, has anyone got this exerience, i would rather than pay extea for home delivery again from now on.
But it may be interesting when I get the sanctuary/No.7 order next week !;)0 -
I'm ashamed to say I chickened out of my intended purchase today
.
[strike]Went to store specifically with ss tills to purchase new olay gwp with definity cleanser, but didnt have the guts to do it, lots of sa's standing with the gwp and it was a bit too quiet by the SS tills for my liking.[/strike] Came home feeling like I had failed
On way out saw the lancome gwp which looked really lovely like another poster commented. Ummed and ahhed about getting a juicy tube and eye liner (which I sort of need) so I could get the gwp, OH suggested I treat myself and use points to get it. But when it came to it I couldnt justify parting with £30 worth of points for just 2 items and gwp. I love all my pretty bottles and make-up, and spend lots of time looking at them and stroking them (:o:rolleyes:) , but I realised that the reason Ilike them is because they were all bargains. £30 for lippie and eye liner isnt a bargain, unfortunately. So I left the shop empty handed.
Going to nip back to my local now though as when I popped in this morning I heard them saying they were going to reduce clearance section down to silly prices. Unfortunately I couldnt hang around to watch (as bigger Boots with SS tills was calling me!). So hope all the bargains haven't gone.now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
Just had a nice little essentials shop.
Asked the SA to split it so I would get 2 perkies, she said she would do it in one give them to me anyway :T
After all that, I had miscalculated and it came to under £10 but she still gave me 2 - what a lovely SA :A
Aquafresh is on BOGOF, but no signs at my local - hence my miscalculation! There are also some toothbrushes reduced to £1.22 on the sel (Extreme tongue and one other) included in the BOGOF. hth0 -
Yesterdays shop:
Sanctuary sento mini bodywash 55p
Amazon gift set £3.32 (was £4.99 on clearance but thought it would go 1/3 off too and it did.) Think rrp is £15?
Essentials aromatherapy mini shower gel set £1.95 (from £7.95)
Dr Who captain jack spaceship £2.45 RRP £9.99 (This has been on the shelf randomly with no sel for week so thought id get it price checked and lo and behold one happy ds.)
Natural collection bath pillow £1.47
And best of all Smiley perfume gift set £2.50
Paid with points. The smiley set has been there about a year at £11.25!! I know that because the case is slightly cracked at the corner and i think its the one i dropped last year.
) And im sure the amazon set has been there that long too because its the same one i regretted not picking up as i wasnt sure what it was worth and passion8 told me it was worth it. So i went back and it was gone. Must have got itself lost in the stockroom.
Same with the smiley set as its disappeared from the clearance stand a few times.
Stuff i spotted reduced in slough:
Essentials aromatherapy:
Massage oil 98p
Mini shower gel sets £1.95
Natural collection:
Eye mask 98p
Bath pillows £1.47
FCUK:
Tanning body lotion 98p
No 7:
Sun stuff
Beauty lotion £7.xx
Clearance:
Simple regeneration stuff £3.18
Naked face masks 63p
17 fake tan 50p
Olay hand cream £1.47 (i had a little giggle at this. :rotfl: )
Garnier ultralift cream £5
Loreal or garnier sets? £15
Olay cream Not sure of price.
Thats all i can remember.
I price checked the razor set, still full price.
Then popped into a tiny one near my mums, no reduced sels, rubbish on clearance. Just got a pack of no 7 wipes as i needed change.'They only had one cow!'0 -
Also i noticed the extracts stuff was with the amazon and mediterranean stuff. It had signs up saying 1/3 off extracts and the amazon stuff was 1/3 off but not the mediterranean. So maybe the 150 points coupons would work on the amazon stuff? I picked up a mag yesterday but it was the old one grrr.'They only had one cow!'0

went to Central 12 Southport this morning and managed to bag myself a digital camera on clearance - no picture on .com of the camera? but it is in the digital camera advice leaflet. Samsung 7.2 mega pixel reduced from £89.99 to £29.99 - I then made it up to £35 to get 300points and gained a pinkie - in total about 445 points back!!!:j0

Hi Everyone
Popped into a very teeny weeny local Boots store today.
only did a very small shop but bought the following...
Pampers wipes bogof £1.95
boots ess cucumber scrub £1.36 ( to give my mam as she recently mentioned it )
boots nail polish remover 75% off now 25p ( for mam )
Oral B dental floss 50m ½ price @ £1.03
curve nail scissors 75% off @ 74p
£5.33 got perkie.
I had looked at the liquid NO7 foundation @ £14  first, but none was on the shelf.. but I found it was next to the till on the counter, so I asked SA if I could have 1 cos I heard there were ½ price, she said no cos she didn't know what was happening with them.. I said there going to be priced at ½ price, so could she confirm it with another SA, which she did + I was right lol :rotfl: so got it at ½ price @ £7 used perkie = £2
Now I have quite a bit of make up, so I guess I need to actually use it :rotfl: cos I don't even wear make up  lol well I used to once or twice a year so I had to buy new each time I wore it. :rotfl:
Angel x:hello:
