  • Hello, Someone was asking about Boots in North Wales, Bangor I wouldn`t bother with, only a small store, not much on Clearance, no HE, and a big no, no on the S&G.

Llandudno much better, I managed to get yesterday

2 x Loreal Men Expert sets £5.50 BOGOHP
    Earned a wrinklie

2 x Tony and Guy colour shampoo 61p each
Paid with haircare voucher so free

    Mark Hill glossing spray £2
    Free with haircare voucher

There was quite a lot of the Mens Loreal sets but not with the other items, these were quite close to the tills.:j

I have got quite a lot of vouchers if anyone would like them, every time I go to the ACM I print them off:o

6 x 150 points Trevor Sorbie haircare, cannot be used on minis, electricals, brushes, accessories or male grooming
2 x 150 Gillette series range (I tried one of these on reduced item but it wouldn`t work and SA was not willing to manually add)

5 x 50 points Boots Kids essentials range
3 x 50 points Boots Baby expert range

Not much of anything again. About the only thing that didn't look like tat on the clearance stand was 2 x ROC Dermabrasion Kits which I didn't have a clue what they were.

    Boots related, really...

Can someone pls tell me how I can PM more than one Bootsers at a time? At the mo I'm sending one and then forwarding the same message to 2nd Bootser and it's driving me nuts. Thanks.

Hi Nine Tails, you can now only PM one person with a gap of 3 mins? in between.

Last year there was a big spate of SPAM :spam: sent to users through the PM system, so they had to change it.

Unfortunately, it afftects even the people who dont spam. Annoying isn't it

hi hja, dont worry about questions, it's how we learn, we all did it, and still do. ;);)

You can only pay fully for an item in points
You can't use part cash - part points.
You don't earn points when you 'spend' your points

Also you can't use a voucher when paying with points neither. Have a look here CPG has lots of good info on her first post. HTH

Sorry, Yes. Might have been handy if I'd posted the price. They were marked up at £9.76, so using a £5 skincare voucher £4.76, and just a pack of chewing gum away from another pair of hair/skincare vouchers.
  • Slightly random but entirely Boots related.... a few months ago I had an email about a new Live ask a pharmacist feature on their website, where you email a question through the site and a pharmacist phones you back?? Are they still doing this as I can't find it on there? I was going to send the link to a friend.
Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers... :D
