  • Hi Everyone,

No BOotsing for me today  Out for lunch today with OH, FIL & Partner and thought i'd try out the eyemouse & mascara that came with NO7 GWP.

Warning to those who are yet to try the mouse, a tiny bit goes a long long way and dries very quickly, first glance and I thought  what have you done with only a minute to spare to get out the door on time.

Just as well it was a "posh lunch" or I would have felt a little overdressed in the eye dept (its a bit sparkley) but it kind of grew on me IYSWIM.

However by late afternoon my eyes started to smart and felt gritty couldn't wait to get back home and take it all off, has anyone else had this problem?

Trouble is as I haven't used either before I'm not sure which one has caused it so i'm going to have to try one at a time .

Roc wipes did the same and made my eyebrows feel as if they were being stung by a million tiny wasps.

Would like to hear from anyone else who may have had a problem with these not much I can do about it really as they were FREE, but i'd be interested to know as I have put some in gift baskets.

    TIA

    Hi Skibster

I am just about finished the big P&P 200ml, probably lasted a good year. Was using it twice daily until had a skin analysis with Elizabeth Arden who said my eye area was OK but rest of the face was quite hydrated so maybe drop to once daily. Although I think it's good, might have a break from it for abit and then go back to it.

BTW - those new to P&P serum - it is applied first and then your moisturiser goes on top. It is not meant to be used on its own (as I did for a while!)

Thank you for the clarification - been using my fee sample for the last week on its own and wondering what all the fuss is about as skin feels really dry and flaky in patches....nice!! Am loving the body p&p moisturiser, so was tempted to get some of the beauty serum IF on offer & IF my face improves as everyone raves about it and apparantly was only 1 per person when launched - Lynn have posters up highlighting that restrictions no longer on - marketing ploy? Sorry not a bootser then, so would be interested to know peoples successes with the beauty serum.

Is the half price offer on in all stores, or just those who appear to have the older format? Don't have any p&p vouchers (to make it a real bargain) but do have a couple of perkies, and a couple of wrinklies/hairies to use by Tuesday - Norfolk/Cambridge area, so will be taking a trip out anyway.

Re sanctuary travel sets, there was a reduce SEL in March, but no stock and none out the back. If pick any up will buy and offer surplus here for those in 'need'. Price checked in Ely but full price, same in Lynn.

    Many thanks as always.
  • If you look at the pictures on the front of the perkies, theres mens and womens skincare on there too, as well as colour cosmetics :D .

I think maybe there should be a comma after the No7 ??

I've had no problem with the mousse or mascara that came with the No7GWP. As you said, a little goes a long way lol.

I've not tried the ROC wipes, though

Does anyone know how long a 30ml bottle of no7 beauty serum should last if applied once a day? I'm thinking at least two months, probably three?

I've got two tubes and don't want to overstock like crazy as I may want to try something else in 4 to 6 months time. But I might get another tube now while the deal is good if my stash will last less time than I think.

When there was all the fuss about them a few years ago MrB recommended that a tube would last a month, and that the 200ml bottle would last a year.

I remember because my mum realised she'd been using bucketloads of the stuff, probably about twice what she should have been and I was  at how much she was spending on it all

  • I have no idea if this has been posted already or not, but just a heads up to let you know that a new clearance section appeared at Boots Guildford at the weekend, opposite the tills on the second floor. Managed to pick up some T&G Model me products for free (using £2 hair care voucher) and they had some Avene moisturisers too.

im going into Birmingham city centre tomorrow to get rid of all of my hairys and wrinklies.
can anyone tell me any reduced products they saw in either of the boots that i could use the wrinklies and hairys on.
