someone a few pages back asked if you could use the wrinklie with the 500 points regenerist through the post together. Well I couldn't even though I had a lovely young lady serving me who was quite willing to try.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Just to let you know I got some Fairy conditioner for 99p for a 937ml bottle inc 25% free (26 washes as its concentrated) which I thought was a bargain. That was from Savers last week. HTH
Sorry for being off topic!
Thanks for that. :T I'll have to pop in and see if they have any. Trust my daughter to not be allergic to one the more expensive fabric conditioners.
Anyway, on topic. Went to my favorite Boots store at London Colney and they had added a few bits to their clearance section.
I got a NC holdall bag for toiletries for £3.50 (not sure how much it was before)
They also had the green cupcakes for 61p.
I got 2 NC green shower gels for 33p each and used the 100 AC points.
Also got the frizz-ease hairspray and paid 44p.

Cause my lids are very oily compared to the rest of my face and find the eyeshadow stays put better with this. Hth.
I use the Spackle too. It's great at its job0 -

I held on to it for him and today I went into our small branch and picked up a Sensitive Shaving Gel for 98p. Went through fine so walked up to the bigger Boots and printed off another 3. DS came out with me later to smaller branch and chose 2 more shaving gels and a shaving balm but bottled out of going to desk to pay so I said I'd show him how it was done. Gels went through OK. Shave balm said I didn't have a qualifying spend. SA told me to try the till upstairs. Same thing happened upstairs so she took me to see the manageress at the other end of shop who said coupons couldn't be used as they didn't have an ACM machine! Quoting what someone else on here had said about it being in the T & C online she said that wasn't right. She couldn't accept coupons printed off somewhere else. I told her I'd just used two downstairs and she kindly said that she'd let that go!!! I asked if CS was open so she could ring them. She wasn't prepared to do anything other than give me their number. Meanwhile DS is standing beside me wishing the ground would open up.
Think I'm going to have to give CS a ring.
On another matter - the sanctuary travel sets - the SELs say £6 something but I haven't had them price checked. Are the SEL's correct or are they definitely going through cheaper?
Hi, if you go on the Boots website and print this bit of under advantage card questions you can go in 'armed' for next time. I have just incase I go back to mr B's at hunstanton to battle with the dragon

Why doesn't my local store have an advantage card extra offers kiosk?
We have selected our larger Boots stores to house our kiosks because they have a much wider range of products than our smaller stores and therefore we are able to broaden and increase the number of offers we make available. >Coupons can be used in any Boots store as long as the coupon has not expired and the product is stocked<. We have also added some extra offers kiosks into a number of smaller stores where there has been a business requirement to fill in geographical gaps ensuring our customers do not have to travel too far to their nearest extra offers kiosk store.0 -
went to spend wrinklies/hairys/£5 off P&P as wont be bootsing now till after tuesday-managed to get 3 P&P Hand Creams, 6 JF serums and 3 JF hairsprays for £1.32 :T
Loads of putting sets (but no Gilette clearance) no Loreal mens anti fatigue and no Olay GWP. Sanctuary sets still full price (the time i have seen these reduced was SEL for folk asking) and no NC reduced.
Clearance rubbish (as always!)
Lots of Loreal GWP and although they were giving perkies only at the main tills, the pharmacy till was giving out perkies+ wrinklie/hairy for anyone thats still needing a few.
lovely Clarins rep was giving out the gift bags with 3 minis to folk..hth someone..xx0 -
Yet another query for our expert bootsers:
I've managed to get rid of most of my hairys, but still have wrinklies to get rid of. What's everyone spending these on? Anything cheap apart from the olay regenerist face wash?
TIA. I promise I'll get the hang of this bootsing thing eventually!OS weight loss challenge: 4.5/6 lbs0 -

balletshoes wrote: »I kinda know what you mean - I was at 3 stores today, and the first 2 were totally bargainless. I used up a couple of wrinklies/hairies in Nottingham Vic centre, then spied another and a perkie lying forlorn in a basket on the way out, so I gave them a home. Had a little chat with the Clarins lass, unfortunately she'd totally run out of mini samples to give me, but she said to try in John Lewis or Debenhams, as all Clarins counters were doing the same thing at the mo. 61p SELS on the NC flannel cupcakes, but no stock.
Then went off to Riverside - their clearance stand was carp really, nothing much reduced on the SELs at all, couldn't even find SELs for NC cupcakes there. Used up another couple of wrinklies/hairies, on TD moisturiser and JF serum.
Finally (and I was kind of losing the will to Boots by this time) I nipped off to Pride Park. Much better clearance here! Got a Dnage plumper free with a wrinklie, some more Charles Worthington blow dry spray for 20p with a hairy, and used my last hairy on some more JF serum. Also found, on the clearance stands, neutrogena 50ml pure glow daily moisturiser for £1.40, and the No17 vintage collection GWP for 50p.
Still no NC cupcakes, but they did have quite a lot of their Mediterranean collection body butters etc range at half price, on the normal shelves - these ones (or varieties like them)
http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=24223&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
Some FCUK body lotion too, at half price on the normal shelf. Also lots of current No17 on the make-up stand at half price, including their mineral foundation etc. No17 is also 342.
So, I'm now wrinklie and hairy - less, phew what a relief!
Next week, on to the perkie spending :rotfl:
Glad to know its not just me. Off to look round a different Sheffield store Tues, so I'll look out for the body butters etc. I have 3 wrinklies to get rid of, so I'm going to research some Xmas gifts cos I'd need to grow another head to use everything I've bought!
Good luck with the perkie spending.0 -
