Phones4U
I am looking to purchase a phone online from Phones4U and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with their redemption processes. I have been reading about OSPS and the nightmares people have been having and I do not want to face the same with Phones4U.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

We had 2 phones with Phones4U about 15 months ago.
It was a very pleasurable experience from the initial sale and all the cashbacks-no hassels at all...no delays with cashback claims.
Sure, we had to a bit more than with other 'similar offers'...but well worth it.0 -
I had a problem in that when i bought in the shop i was told to send off certain bills and id get my cashback. When i did this i was told i had to send back another form with the bills to claim my redemption. I was supposed to have been given that form by the shop on purchase but never was. I keep all paperwork and this form wasnt there. It came down to a my word against the shops scenario and in the end they said that they didnt believe the shop hadnt given it to me and therfore i couldnt claim the cashback.
That was over a year ago now though so dont let that put you off. Just make sure you have in writing what you need to claim and check in the shop you have all the documents needed. Thats a mistake i will never make again.0 -
I got 2x D500 from Phones4U online 6 months ago (better deal than in the shop and shop couldnt match it). I sent off a week or so ago my cashback forms (did this recorded delivery to be on the safe side) and today received 2 cheques for £180 each. Each deal i got was a D500 on a 12 month contract with o2 at £30 per month for 50 text and 200 minutes (doubled for the first 3 months). The first 6 months were free line rental, still payable but then refunded through cashback. So now i will bank the money to pay for the next 6 months rental on both. May look into downgrading monthly amount which i think i can get down to around £20 not sure what i get included with that though.
So go for it. I have 4 contract phones (me,oh and 2 daughters) which i got 6 months ago (always had payg until then) 2 with Phones4U and the other 2 with CPW. CPW have been no probs either they even send a text to the phones to say they have received cashback forms and are processing it which i thought was a nice touch (with 3 network the others).0
