Moving house - change from tiscali to Sky?

We're moving on 2nd April - I'd like Sky TV, esp Sky + so please advise me if you have experience of a Sky startup!
Plan to cancel Tiscali broadband and phone well in advance - maybe give them a month's notice, saying we're moving to rented accomso they don't try to talk us into staying - so Tiscali would be completely finished with by end of March, then get Sky TV, broadband (and phone?) set up in early April? What do you think?Any advice very welcome.
PS Am having really rubbish Valentine's Day - got home from a residential course Fri till today 1pm to find Father-in-Law installed in living room - finally got rid of him 5pm but partner has done nothing at all for Valentine's so I'm feeling v taken for granted and neglected so just finished bottle of champagne and trying not to start an argument. Don't think he's even realised what he's done (or not done)- I don't want to lose the plot but think it's crap. Sympathy please!
