What version is it? My XDA holds charge for a week or so with light use. If you use it a lot as a PDA then you will get much less battery life.

hi $17 - I have an XDA Exec too - what a fabulous device! Never an issue with battery life. My suspicion is that you have all your battery drainers running all the time. So - set your backlight settings appropriately - do u really need the screen lit all the time? Also make sure that you've only got Wireless Networking and Bluetooth turned on when u need them rather than all the time. of course, if your using the device constantly, and on wireless and using a bluetooth headset, then 12 hours is pretty generous!

Thanks h4nym i will check my backlight settings..it is just that the screen is soo dark, no natural light in my office so difficult to see.MFWB

I had an issue with my XDA IIs, if I didn't have the button lock on, anything pressing against the outside buttons would leave the screen on all night, draining the battery.0
