have 32k and would like to no what is the best account/s for it.dont really want to take any risks with it so no share dealing.any help would be great cheers:D

    It times of uncertainty you get all sorts of weirdos come out with unconventional schemes and ideas because naive and easily scared people are more likely to consider them. I fear this Gold obsession is one such thing.

    The level of obsession we're seeing at the moment is certainly unconventional, as is the belief that gold is in any way suitable instead of savings for most people. We're certainly seeing a lot of people right now who are glossing over the risks associated with commodity investments and are instead trying to convince people to buy gold/silver and keep it in their homes... Not exactly conventional wisdom! ;)

    Platinum is worth looking at and taking some proper advice as against Gold, the Japenese have been big buyers of recent :rolleyes:
