Best phone/contract for email

I'd be very grateful if anyone has any recommendations ....

I'm basically looking for a new mobile contract so that i can be mobile with my email. I do a fair bit of texting ... harly ever use the phone function ... but a good handset with office type capabilities (i.e. a decent calendar/organiser function) and the options to pick up/reply to my email would be great. Doubt I would use it much for browsing the internet.

Initially i presumed Blackberry would be the way to go. I am a 'business' user and I know a company I worked for a little while ago had the blackberry on contract with fairly cheap £11 something line rental and just £5 for the blackberry service itslef (this was through Vodafone)

Any suggestions gratefully received.

I would go with the blackberry if you want to keep a low monthly cost but if you want the iPhone is another business option as you can contact to push service such as Exchange and MobileMe which syncs Mail, Calender, contacts. Part of the contract you get 3G internet.

I have the Nokia E71 and I got to say it's the best phone I have had.

Most smartphones these days can do all that you require. I currently use the N96 on Three and for just a fiver extra a month you get free internet, which allows my phone to connect to an exchange server every 5 minutes or so to keep synced
