Problem with the electricity to my boiler

I have a Vaillant turbo max plus 828E boiler, that i was advised to turn off at the wall each evening, as the noise it made at night would wake everyone up (will fire up to keep a constant temperature) and not turning the boiler off on the button on the boiler as it is a flimsy plastic button that kept breaking. This has been fine, however this morning when i went to turn it on, there is no power going to the boiler at all. I changed the fuse, but this hasnt worked, so didnt know what else could be causing it. My normal electrician is working away at the moment, and didnt know if i might have to call another out, or if there was something else i could try.

Not a good advert for Vaillant. Never known a boiler that's noisy enough to keep me awake or where bits fall off.
Assuming the fuse hasn't blown again or even if it has, check for an on board fuse. Other than that it's likely to be a power supply failure on the control board either the transformer or rectifiers in which case it's a new board @ about £150.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0 -

A friend has been able to check that the electricity supply is going into the boiler, but obviously something is happening once it gets in there!!!! Does that sound like this is the control board? Also, would i need an electrician or a corgi reg gas man?0 -
Had another friend round, and he changed a fuse on the circuit board, and now the boiler is working!!!! Must admit, the fuse didnt look like it had blown and he did wiggle the circuit board a bit, so it might have been something loose or the fuse. Im just pleased we have heat and hot water again!!!!0
