I am trying to cancel my aol broadband/phone contract. I took it out just before christmas, and although the phone works, the internet never has!!! I have contacted them and explained that I am not getting the service they promised, but they actually expect me to pay the remainder of the contract!! Any ideas anyone? Please feel free to pm me.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

cancel your dd payment then request mac if you pay by continious card payment change this to dd wait one month then follow above
when they email/phone you re non payment just give the facts ie slow speeds etc crap service in the end they give up
then sign up with o2 broadband0 -
If you cancel your DD you could end up damaging your credit file, would end up in breach of contract as well and would most probably be chased by a debt collectiona agency with all the additional costs. Contact their complaints department and escalate it - if they are not providing the service that they are charging you for, then formally complain and if that doesn't work it can then be escalated to OTELO.
