I didnt have no letter of sequestation, made no difference.GREEDYGUTS wrote: »Local cab said to me they did not issue letters of sequestration at present
I filled in the new bancruptcy booklet for going Lila, took it into cab who checked it, then paid the £100 into the bank account and posted off the booklet and some other info like copy or house rental agreement, and any other stuff that was asked for. The booklet explains it all. I then sent it recorded delivery.Never Give Up hope!0 -
if greedyguts cant go down lila route then he either has to wait for a charge for payment before he can go br ( but i thought you could get letter of sequestration from cab or moneyadvice scotland as of 15th dec ) i had to get cfp before i could go brGREEDYGUTS wrote: »Local cab said to me they did not issue letters of sequestration at present

I'm just wondering what paperwork everyone sent in?
I've had slightly contradictory advice between "Send in everything you've got" and "The AIB will not thank you for bombarding their inbox" I've prepared the latest statements from creditors, bank statements, my tax credits notification, the tenancy agreement of the house I'm staying at (just to prove I'm not on the agreement) um, but not sure what else - other than a detailed covering letter - is necessary?x0 -

Oh, the money advisors both advised a detailed covering letter just to give a bit more 'credence' to the case I think, I changed my surname (post abusive relationship with the man that started this crazy debt spiral) a few years ago, & I obviously wouldn't want the AIB to think it was in any way an attempt to commit some sort of fraud - although it's clearly declared on my Experian & Equifax report, so hopefully it doesn't look at all 'dodgy' haha! Also, I went back to England for a few months & stayed with family, I wasn't sure whether I was going to return to Scotland so had all my post changed to my Dad's address over that period - I'm back up here now, but it means that some of the last few month's bank statements/creditor letters are at a different address to the one on my application. I just thought that it'd be best to be proactive & explain it all at the beginning of the application process, to hopefully stave off later confusion. Tis the theory anyway! Haha x0

They want much more information now (after 15 November 2010) than they did.
They may ask for payslips, any HP/credit agreements, any insurance policies. If they need anything else, they should (in theory) just ask you for it.
They will probably ask for details of anywhere you've lived in the past 5 years at your interview (if your application is OK), so you will be able to explain about living with your Dad.0 -
Bump for those that need it.0
