outlook express recovery

After getting my computer back up and running from a crash, I am struggling to remember how to set up my POP3 & SMTP in the accounts section of the menu. Could anyone advise please. Also, Can I recoverthe e'mails I had in the folders (import), bearing in mind I have just used my recovery disc and done a full format on my computer! I am running XP home> Thanks
