XDA Unlock software
http://unlocking.specialratenumbers.com/ offers "free" software to unlock the XDA IIi for a "small admin fee of £9.99". However I found http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=24779 which provices the free software ... worked for me. Seems to cover the MDA phones and others including

alpine: PH10C PH10D
magician: PM10A PM10B PM10C
blueangel: PH20B, PH20B1, ...

Don't know much about the XDA IIi, but assume its a rebranded version of one of the many HTC phones , if so

Go to the XDA Developers website - they have unlock tools for free and I would think they will have one for XDA IIi.
