FREE 0845 & 0870 CALLS WITH INCLUSIVE MINUTES

I may have missed the boat here and everyone knows this already, but did you know that ALL 0845 & even 0870 calls are deducted from your inclusive minutes with o2!!! I get 200 anytime minues a month so can call 0845 and 0870 anytime without charge providing I have minutes left. Saves me loads when calling banks and call centres etc! :j

even if these numbers are not inclusive,, i suggest you use the website saynoto0870.com which will give you the corresponding geographical number.

hope this will help users with networks that charge for using 0845 and 0870.

They tend to only be included in cross network inclusive minutes,which also include calls to 0844 and 0800/0808 and 07744 numbers.(BUT NOT 0871). Some own network minute deals also include calls to 0844 . O2 Payg online x-net/bolt on inclusive minutes also include calls to 0844/0845/0870/0800/0808.and 07744.

If your on a Orange or Virgin Contract with inclusive cross network minutes you can now dial 0845/0870/0800/0808 numbers through one of the SF access numbers EG:
07744 97 4116.4333,4404, etc etc etc.

Instead of paying their more expensive ngn rates.

Not quite - these numbers were in O2 contracts even before inclusive cross-network minutes were invented, and still are in old ones.

anyone know if the 08 numbers are included with 3 tariffs - i'm on talk and text 600 but am sure i was charged for several 0800 (freephone) calls at end of last year

were originally , but appears changed ages ago

The 0800 number is not free on Orange anymore after they changed it, unless you were those lucky enough to persuade them to defer the charges.

I have recently read they are not included in some of the o2 off peak tariffs,but they are definitely included in the High St ones.

i just bought the l6 on the off peak 1000 tarriff from CPW. Does anyone know if this tarriff allows 0870,0845 etc within the inclusive minutes as i can't see anything that confirms it 100%.

They are free only if the numbers are on the Telephone Helpline Association list, otherwise they are always chargeable at 15p per minute (or 35ppm peak and 15ppm off-peak for the Off-Peak 1000 plan).

All other non-geographical numbers e.g. 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871, etc. are also always chargeable - regardless of whether you have any minutes left on your price plan.
