Stumped!

Hi Guys

Wondering if anybody can help please. Just downloaded a gif image to my mobile. I want to use it as my wallpaper. The image downloaded ok and when you view it in the pictures section the image rotates as it should.
However when you apply it as wallpaper there is no rotation just a stationary image. If you apply it as a screensaver it works ok. The phone is a motorola V500. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Does the phone support moving backgrounds/wallpaper. Have you had a moving image as your wallpaper before?

I did a google search and there are a few people asking questions like this on other boards but no answers so I would say it cant be done (although maybe someone could put me right)

Are you sure that this animated gif is the correct pixel size to suit the mobiles screen and that it is not too large a file?

This website states that animated screensavers do work on a V500.

    ;)

Hi espresso, as I say the gif works ok in the pictures section and if you set it as a screensaver it works ok. Its only when you apply as a wallpaper that it stops working. I thought that there might be some settings you could cgange but I can't see any.
