Hi,
I haven't read all the replies but here are my ideas:
1. Take her to Disneyland Paris, go on the Pirates of the Carribean ride and propose...becareful not to drop the ring in the water : ).
2. Get pirate dressing up costumes for the two of you. Make her a lovely dinner with low lighting and sea music...when you dish up desert present the ring in a little chest along side it. The ring will go straight on her finger and you won't have to worry about it getting lost.....
