how do these people get these tickets!phillipsdj wrote: »http://www.soldouteventtickets.com/ticket/118211/michael-jackson
Maybe you could get him a couple in Block A2 at £1,400 each.
 Block 410 Row M = 274.95. Mine is Row B and cost me £75!
 Block C3 Row unknown = 400 & Row T = 461. I have row A and cost me £75!!
I would have thought they would have been where the £800 ish tickets were, like with Madonna her £500 tickets where the front blocks.
Wonder if I could pay of my debt with my first night ticket lol
2 VIP tickets on ebay for £16k0

I'm afraid I don't know how to start a new thread, so as this is about MJ, hope this of some relevance. I was getting concerned today about the mad prices being asked for these concert tickets especially as I think most people feel Jacko will not be up to doing all these, now about 22 concerts. He is broke and needs the dough but then it is our hard earned dough which is at stake.Rang Pay Pal today as wanted verification as to how the buyer stands if any one of the concerts is cancelled, and because it is outside of their 45 day claims dispute time, NOTHING can be done about reimbursement from the seller. The tickets are for July onwards and they are not sent out until about 10 days beforehand but buyers have to pay on ebay now which will then be well over the 45 days time limit. I was looking at a buy now price of £500. or best offer for these £75.00. tickets so wrote to the seller to ask him what his policy was in the event of a cancellation. He wrote back to say he would refund the face value but would only offer half of the remainder of the payment made, but even that according to Pay Pal and Ebay cannot be enforced due to the 45 day dispute limit. The only recourse would be to take the seller to the small claims court and all the hassle that incurs. Something is radically wrong with this policy. There is no protection whatsoever and leaves sthe system WIDE open for fraud and a power seller gives you no more protection. Only if Ebay hear of repeated complaints about a seller would they look into removing him from the site, big deal.
This has really focused my mind and I will not pay out these mad sums of money, but many people will be caught up in Michael mania.
Just thought I would make this point on MSE as a wake up reminder to everyone out there contemplating spending their hard earnt cash, it really is a risky business but Michael wont be feeling it in his gold lined pockets.:embarasse0

some of the prices on ebay and soldoutevent are a joke try the general sale tomorrow, you can get the highest package for £800 why spend £1500!!!!
I just hope they don't go alone the route of asking for ID on the door the tickets are in my mums name!!!!!
IF I did sale my single ticket (due to not being able to go) I'd sell it once I had the ticket so nearer the event.
There must be a way for getting the details of these ebay sellers and cancelling their tickets.0

            Morning all!
I had my pay review at work this morning, my boss said that she was really happy with my performance and I have been given a small pay rise. It is only around 5%, but this is double the company average - unfortunately 5% of Not Alot is also Not Alot!! :rotfl:
To make up for the slightly disappointing rise she has managed to negotiate a small bonus for me, I am the only person at my level in the who got one so I am very pleased at that.:D
Before tax etc the bonus is £1.5k so, given that we are aiming to move within 2 months, this will definitely be put straight into the New Flat Savings!
 I think that's all for now, I hope everyone has a lovely day!NSDs: 4/50
