0800 Buster
UPDATE: Read the full 0800 Buster guide for full info.
Apparently you can use this to ring 0800 numbers for free from your mobile. Seems to good to be true tbh. Anyone already know about or used this?

Unfortunately I haven't managed to get it to work for me yet. It asks me to put in the number I want to be connected to plus hash key, which I have done, then hold, put number in again, hold, put number in again...
I have tried with two different starting numbers from the site and have had the same problem with both.
Perhaps they have already been blocked or I have done something obviously wrong, but I was very disappointed.
If anyone has had a better experience or there is a secret to it, please let me know.0 -
I've used them many times. Always worked for me.
They many a tiny fraction of profit on each call I think. It would be nice in this day and age if the mobile companies made the 0800/0500's free. After all we are all spending more time on our phones amd they are meant to be FREEPHONE!
Rant over;)0 -

Long before 0800 buster came on the scene Pre-Dial launched a similar service. It works well.
All you have to do is dial one of their access numbers 0200 222 0700 or 0900 and then call the freephone number if one doesnt work from your mobile the other will.0 -
no good if you're just a pay-as-you-go user.....0
