  • I popped into the garden on Sunday, it was an absolutely beautiful sunny afternoon and could hear a strange noise. My wildlife pond was filled with pairs of frogs frollicking in the midday sun and my pond is only tiny. I felt sorry that I had disturbed them. Yesterday I saw that the pond was teeming with frogspawn. Couldn't tell you where the frogs disappeared to though, I saw them disappearing through the pipe in the wall through to next door, could've done with them hanging around to get rid of those early slimy critters!! How long will it take for my frogspawn to hatch?

Maye I should edit the title to read Fr-orgy!!

I'm jealous - no signs of frogs round here yet. My notes say that we had the first frogspawn on 25 February last year and the first tadpoles on 24 March. Seems like about a month!
