Spring?
Maybe its daft with all the snow and freezing weather we've had but it seems like spring is nearly here! The buds on the currants are swelling, most of the garlic planted in November is now showing above ground, as is the early rhubarb.
There's frog spawn in the heritage centre pond at Southerndown and a skylark was singing in the sun yesterday.
I love this time of year!

I long for Spring. I just been outside today in garden tiding up and I have chopped some old plant material and put it in composter too. Going to wash to car soon.
I got some snowdrops up through the lawn, I thought I dug them all up last year and replanted them, funny the ones I did replanted have only just come through the soil0 -

I popped into the garden on Sunday, it was an absolutely beautiful sunny afternoon and could hear a strange noise. My wildlife pond was filled with pairs of frogs frollicking in the midday sun and my pond is only tiny. I felt sorry that I had disturbed them. Yesterday I saw that the pond was teeming with frogspawn. Couldn't tell you where the frogs disappeared to though, I saw them disappearing through the pipe in the wall through to next door, could've done with them hanging around to get rid of those early slimy critters!! How long will it take for my frogspawn to hatch?
Maye I should edit the title to read Fr-orgy!!0
