Most of us are sensible enough to hover over links, se the URL being linked to, and then decide whether to go or not. As someone whose posted a few lmgtfy links, I have no need to see another, especially as the link shows the search term.
If the site allowed tiny urls, on the other hand, I may have fallen for it
