  • I tried http://www.quoterack.co.uk/Buy-To-Let-Home-Insurance.aspx and had half a dozen brokers call me back - try playing one off against another! ;)

    Keep the excess to a sensible amount, be aware of the implications if you take a security discount eg enter in that you have an alarm or window locks etc.
  • I just got a policy for 2 house I rent out from a company called discount landlord (www discountlandlord co uk) It was all done on line, i got a quote without having to put in a load of information and then this guy called me and offered it to me for cheaper, he was great!
  • I've used both CIA Landlords Insurance and Alan Boswell and have been happy with both.
