I like them all (truly) but lately I love the OS weight loss thread... have picked up some fab tips but just lurking at the moment!

Pretty difficult to choose just one, but I loved Thriftlady's Wartime Experiment thread. D&DD's 'Family of 5 Shop from Home' thread comes a very close second for me, loads of information and ideas in both of them.

I'm doing some indexing, working amongst threads from at least 2 years ago, and I get so distracted by all the interesting stuff I'm finding ;)

My favourite is '5 OS pleasures in your day today'...it's lovely to read about the good that everyone can find in their day no matter how many problems or troubles they have, it's a really friendly community with everyone looking out for and encouraging each other, and not a grumble in sight! :A

"Sneaky ways to save the Pennies" - It was the first thread I posted in (actually registered just to post there!). Have it on Daily notification and I absolutely love it! :D

  • I am getting great leads to interesting threads here, thanks:T

I think this forum could provide enough reading material for a lifetime. There are definitely a good few books on here that should be published imho:o I'd buy them!

Thanks for this thread, cookiemonster - good to make us think. With so many to chose from, it's hard to say which are favourite but here goes:

5 OS Pleasures in your day; Storecupboard Challenge; Leftovers - Use it Up Don't Throw Away; Introduce Yourself; Confessions of an OS-er; Childhood Memories.

I try to have a quick read of most threads each day, but these are the ones that I really don't like to miss (though, right now, the Childhood Memories thread seems to have disappeared again).

Thriftlady's wartime thread for sure and I just loved the childhood one that Olliebeak mentioned, that brought back so many memories. I also love the disasters thread for a giggle
  • Got to be 'Five OS pleasures in your day' for me. It helps me focus on the positives in life and look for the silver lining behind every cloud, for if we look there is always one there.
