You can also get them in Robert Dyas - I make porridge in mine by half filling it with oats, topping it up with boiling water, then popping the lid on. By the time I get to the office, the porridge is "cooked" and I can have a hot breakfast at my desk - perfect for hectic mornings!2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -

i LOVE this idea. because of the timings catching my two buses to get to school my 30 min journey will take more like an hour. I love the idea of being able to have a decent breakfast before i start work though. will definitely have to try this!know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
I would suggest bleach and water left overnight- but you would have to rinse it very thoroughly. I used this method for dh for a dewar that someone had left in the lab and it ponged - think large vacuum flask costing several hundred pounds - and it's come up really well and doesn't smell at all- although it is metal not plastic.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

But that defeats the OS system of ethics - people have been whipped for less!!:D
I use Milton Sterilising tablets - you can buy them in small boxes (takes up less space than a bottle that way). The tablets can be snapped in half, making it last twice as long. I recently used half in a flask (I forgot I had tea in there. Not pleasant a week later!)
It's also hypnotic watching them fizz.......:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -

Darn it, they are out of stock. A couple of these would be perfect for my frequent stays in hospital (OH has to do home made food runs for me), I get mega cravings for fruit, veg and healthy foodIt matters not if you try and fail, and fail and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, and fail to try again.

I was going to ask much the same question. I have a big plastic bowl that I made bathbombs in and now I can't get rid of the perfumey smell. I will try bicarb !0
