Yesterday i washed my little thermos snack pot that i accidently grew a mould specimin in. Despite using very hot water with copius amounts of suds, it still smells (in a way that only mouldy gone off yogurt can smell :eek: )
it's a great pot and i'm loathe to throw it away so how can i get rid of the smell?

My first suggestion would be to try Soda Crystals, but I'm sure some better suggestions woll be on there way soonIt matters not if you try and fail, and fail and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, and fail to try again.

You could try sprinkling some bicarbonate of soda in and leaving overnight (or longer) this will hopefully absorb the smell.MFW 1/5/08 £45,789 Cleared mortgage 1/02/13

soak in a strong solution of vinegar and water overnight. You could use bleach and water but would have to make sure it was well rinsed out.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

lakeland. they keep discontinuing them though
they don't seem to be available at the mo, but i've seen them before in pink and blue. It's like an oversized yoghurt pot and it has a special compartment in the lid for storing a folding spoon.
I haven't tried using it to keep things hot but it's great at keeping things cool (and growing mouldif not cleaned soon enough
)
wilkinsons are usually pretty good for this sort of thing so it might be worth looking to see if they have anything like itknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
