Hey James - Happy New Year hun!!
Great to see you doing so well with your debt! Another one who wants to be debt free in 2007 - yaaaay - but the question is, who copied who?I bet it was that dodgy security guard (formerly known as SS) who copied you, wasnt it?
But I seriously believe you can do it too - it will make me really happy for you if you do it, and it really is worth it & will open up so many other choices for you!! It will be hard work, but definately the right thing to do!!
How exciting!!!!
How was Christmas? Hows things with your brother at the moment & family? Wishing you all the best for 2007!!

Happy New Year James.:j
Haven't been on over the break, bosom of the family and all that and couldn't prise dd off computer.:D
How was your xmas? Did you spend some dosh on yourself as per plan? Hope you had a good one. I'm as ever amazed that you can live on so little. If anyone deserves an award for single mindedness it's you. (Do I hear SS whispering "Bloody mindedness more like"? Shhh):rotfl:
We've been enjoying a student free existence here at Verbage house over xmas but have 2 from Sunday, had to turn down a 3rd as leaking roof in relelvant room! Dreading how much that'll be. Also have to pay my tax bill at end of Jan and as I'm useless at getting organized I haven't finished my tax stuff for the accountants so still don't know how much it'll be.
(What am I doing on here I hear you ask, get back to the sums).
Rather more than slightly worried that I used too much of my savings intended for the tax bill on the cc's. I paid off huge amounts last year when I could'nt BT all the debts to new cards when 0% deals ended on the old ones.
I had my heart procedure in Dec and am officially much better. Am trying not to worry and keep telling myself that it's not the end of the world if I don't pay it all off by April and have to get yet another cc deal. Unlike you any extra left over from tax bill, fat chance, will be spent on MEEEEE:T and not the ccs.
All power to James. All hail James. Good luck for dfd 2007 I'm sure you'll get there sooner rather than later.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -

Good on you son! Been a while since the last update though!
I'm crazily looking at making 2007 my debt free year aswell (no bloody chance) but it's worth a shot!
Pots and kettles come to mind SS!:D
I've missed your regular updates but fully appreciate that the matched betting generates the cash and is where it's at.
Mind you as I haven't been on here over xmas I could well have missed many exciting instalments. I'll have to check.
Happy New year SS and good luck for a dfd in 2007 for you too.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
