    hiya james:)

so the MB winnings are sitting in a bank account? have you thought of clearing your MBNA card with it, just leaving your loan? i know it would be hard to touch that money but in the grand scheme of things, you seem to have MB mastered so you will be able to earn it back again. but with MBNA chraging you interest it does make more sense to clear it IMO.

that would leave just the loan and everthing else at 0% and would bring your total debt down to below 6k:D

    just a thought....

    hiya mate :hello:

My money is sitting in various bookmaker accounts and betting exchanges :) but it is easily obtainable though :)

Im going to over pay my MBNA card by about £600 this month so ill have that down to nothing very soon :) and the interest on that is around £15-£20 as for the loan im paying £11 interest on my payments a month and i can far exceed the interest im paying in what i can make through matched betting :)

Like SS i made £200 last week im just waiting for it to hit my bookies accounts and ill add it to me sig :)

Matched betting is very lucrative and thats why im kinda reluctant to let my pot go at the moment :o

Ok I'm gonna be serious for a minute

I'll wait while ya stop laughing Laie_67.gif

    right ya finished?? :)

I think (and it is only my thoughts) that you should use your MB winnings to clear the debt... yes you have a huge bankroll, BUT you shouldn't rely on the fact you do have 0% cards because ultimately you are just dragging the debt further down the road with you and the quicker its gone the quicker you can use the overpayment money to go towards the deposit for ya ikkle flat/house

The matched betting won't go away, ok it will be like starting from scratch once the big bankroll has gone, but whats more important to you?

a huge wadge of money sitting there doing, quite honestly not a lot except letting you make bigger bets

or credit cards and loan statements that says £0 to pay?

plus a savings account starting to look quite healthy?

    xx

    Yeah i know :)

But that huge wad of cash is allowing me to make more money more quickly cos im able to do several bookmakers on the go at once :)

Plus it allows me to complete the bigger wagering requirements that are needed for some bookies i.e. Betboo.com where buy for the £50 freebet money i had to turn over £660 worth of bets so i needed a fair bit in the betting exchange to balance this out :)

I really do understand where you and jamiedodger are coming from though :)

im going to keep doing the matched betting until the end of the year and then ill see how i stand :) cos i may have made so much money i may have a surplus :D:)

James, I didn't need an explanation of MB just cos I said ya should use the winnings to pay off the debt, this isn't about justifying yourself and what you are doing, because we all know that if it wasn't for the MB'ing you would be nowhere near being debt free by chrimbo

I just don't want to see this diary here in 6 - 9 months cos you chose to rely on your 0% cards and carry on MB'ing

they are not the easy way out, short term solution... maybe, but believe me, they will catch up on you if you don't get rid and you have the biggest opportunity to get rid :) x

yeah well just as long as the only reason its around in 9 months time is cos its a sticky with a nice lockd.gif sign at the bottom of it so we don't have to post on here :)

anyways I wanna look for curtains for the new savings diary thread :D
