Can I ask about your egg loan? I know you are desperate to get rid of it, but how have you found it - any problems? I really like the fact you can over pay and I'm thinking I may try and switch mine so that I can use this feature, I don't know any other loans that do the same for a cheaper rate so would accept the 7.9% - has it been hard to be disciplined and over pay? My loan feels like a big burden and I really want to get my act together like you have.
Any advice would be gratefully received

Hiya Y&R :hello:
The Egg loan has probably been the easiest loan ive ever had in my entire life, i have a standing order to pay the monthly repayments and when i get paid what ever i have left out of my wages i leave a £100 for myself for the rest of the month and overpay my loan with what ever is left out of my wages
Generally my overpayments range from £100 up to £400 depending how much i have left out of my wages.
All i actually do is send them a cheque for the overpayment and the amount ive sent them comes off my loan perhaps 4 or 5 days later
I know some people on this board have had problems with them but ive never had any problems at all and would highly recomend them
and Verbatim you have putin just as much hard work as i have so you should be proud of what you have paid off as well:beer:

Hi James,
How's the matched betting going? Are you gonna save it all up to pay off your cc or your loan or is it the beginnings of your deposit?
I think you've done amazingly well to get it down so much over the last year. You were so determined and did all that overtime last summer too. Has that all dried up now?
