  • are you doing a piece of art for them ruby?

Kinda, the bride asked for a poem seeing as I am a writer and did my degree in it. I felt this was a bit boring, so I decided to get a canvas and a load of photos of her, me and her, her and her family and, of course, her and her groom-to-be, stick them on the canvas and put the poem in the middle. Got 25 free prints from a site and only paid shipping (£3.60), just got back from town with a 50cmx60cm canvas (£1.99) and now I'm ready to go.
Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

Cat, as someone who that has happened to this is what I think....

She will be thinking how can I talk to Cat who is pregnant but I need someone to talk to right now...I felt I had to talk to anyone who would listen (I know everyone is different) but I do think you should ring her and tell her you are there for her if she needs you in anyway whatsoever.....if she tells you to get lost she won't mean it and it will just be grief and she will remember one day that you meant well.

After I was told at my dating scan that my baby had died, I went back to work, casual as anything and sat there all afternoon and tried to work. No one had a bloody clue what to say to me, but it was me in denial.

Ring her Cat, she may need your support, you have at least experienced the issue and you are proof that things can work out in the end....x
