Couldn't see one for this morning so hope no one minds if I start it today.

I'm off to work soon and I know it'll be a busy one but I'm planning to take regular MSE update breaks (this is my motivation!):p

Hope everyone has a good day and :grouphug: to all who need them.

Morning Cat and to all who follow

Just getting ready to go to work but feels really cold out there, and the thought of leaving my lovely warm house is not too appealing!

    Have a good day everyone

  • morning! OH was up early as he has a couple of days working in Salisbury and was clattering around from 6........the case he was on for jury service finished yesterday and he doesn't have to go back until Monday. He can't be chosen though for the next case it is set to last until Easter - at least!!! We go on holiday in 6 weeks and he has a form so I'll give him copies of the flights etc. There were 4 pages of names that he had to tick if he thought he knew any of those listed -it's going to be a mega case, whatever it is about!!

Work all day today - normal morning, then quick Charlie break and then go back to invigilate this afternoon for 3.5 hours. Bizarre that my hourly rate for sitting staring into space saying nothing is more than my admin. rate.....

    Have a good one all!

Made it in to work - roads were clear of traffic but the little car park was quite full with idiots exiting via the entrance (thank heavens I have good reflexes and strong brakes)!

Had my toast and am working my way through emails then I'll be off to the store room for an hour sorting out examination equipment ready for the new shelving to be installed (not bad - I only requisitioned the shelves TWO YEARS AGO and now I've only got 7 weeks left to work they're fitting them for me!

Got loads to think about today - because of my gestational diabetes I'm going to be induced at 38 weeks and I now have to decide between normal induction or a c-section. If induction fails they're doing a c-section anyway but the waterbirth is definitely out of the question. I asked about taking a really long bath and they said no to that as well

I'm phoning a therapist (she specialises in hypnotherapy and accupressure massage in childbirth) to see when she recommends Wayne and I do the course. The money I saved on the 4d scan I'll be spending on the hypnotherapy.

    ps - any news Luc;)

    Morning everyone :)

I'm off work today because Natasha isn't very well, she's been throwing up etc. Going to have to work tonight now instead, which is a bit of a pain, but at least I'm not in on Friday. A neighbour (who teaches at Ryan's school) has taken Ryan to school for me because Natty really wasn't well enough to leave the house (exploding nappies :o), but as I'm also feeling a bit queasy, I suspect we will all end up with the same bug.....bleuurrrgghhhh.

    So plan for today is:

Wash all bedding and finish rest of washing too
Cook chicken casserole for dinner (I don't really know how to make this but I have chicken, carrots, potatoes, parsnips and onions so was going to bung in the oven with some stock and see what happens)
    Clean kitchen
Spend rest of day cuddling Natasha and watching Cbeebies :D

    sounds delish!

We're having mushroom pancakes for tea (think mushroom enchiladas, covered in white/cheese sauce) and baked in oven for a few minutes and it'll be about right. I found an old cookbook and we're trying out a couple of recipes each week. Slightly worried that picture looks amazing and it'll taste nothing like it looks and we'll be disappointed! On Tuesday we did sausage casserole with herby/cheesy dumplings and that's become a family favourite - going to cook it again and do extra to freeze and use once Evie arrives!

Has no one heard from Daphne Descends lately...she seems to have disappeared. I have pm'd her but no reply..

Sally - can you pm me your address again....Spud I still have yours....

I am working hard again today, running after work (cos I couldn't be arsed last night) and its my day off tomorrow so woo hoo today feels like Friday.
