Thanks to chickien for the heads up, my second box has just been sent out and when I went to cancel the membership it said I had to clear the £17.95 balance. Called them up and they first tried to offer me the box for "just £9.95, like you paid for the first box" (I didn't bother chasing for the extra £2) but I persisted and have told them I will give them to a hospice on their behalf.
  • Aren't you all good cancelling!!! I'm going for a quarterly subscription - figured the chocs will be a good boost every three months, the next one should coincide nicely with the any New Year resolutions disolving....

I'm getting all my guilt about money and calories out the way now then I can just enjoy the chocolates in 2010. :rotfl:

    Cheers

I'm pretty sure there is a tasting card inside the box but slightly unsure as I was too busy ripping the box open and eating the chocs, they really are lovely!

I don't think it would matter really, honestly they will be bowled over by the chocolates.

I cancelled and then went in the shop in the Bullring and spent a fortune. I now regret it and have just rejoined using my parents address!

The chocolates are now 9.75 but if you can use another address you do get £6.00 cashback from quidco.

I'm not cancelling my order after I recieve them as after visiting the shop I think the membership is better value overall. The power of marketing! :rotfl:
But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more

i have tried the solid collection, the nasty halloween one eugh was horrid! i then had the classic collection and could only eat 1/4 a box as they were horrid to!

  • What happens if you get the introductory box, then the second box with the Hotel Chocolat 5% off membership card, and then decide to cancel, do you have to send the card back?

Just got my intro box and debating what to do next! ;-)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
If you have cancelled membership, can you use the quidco deal again, it says my email is still on data base, so created a new account with 2nd email address.

    Quidco;
Try the Introductory Selection, bringing together 32 of the very best chocolates at just £7.95 (£10 off the usual price off £17.95), with a FREE premium.

For genuine tracked transactions completed wholly online, you can earn:
£6for The Chocolate Tasting Club active membership

so would you get them for £1.95, second time around?
